The ACCU_STIC consists of a small condenser microphone complete with ultra-low noise Class-A FET preamp circuitry. An AA battery provides the preamp power. The preamp circuitry features very small current drain which results in extra-long battery life. All this is contained on a small printed circuit board (measuring about 1" x 4.5") which mounts inside the guitar with a special fastener.
Installation of the ACCU_STIC does not alter the instruments exterior appearance. A 1/4" endpin jack is installed through the tail block of the guitar. The endpin jack doubles as an inconspicuous plug-in point to your amp or PA and as a place to hook your guitar strap to.
The ACCU_STIC features solderless installation. Total installation time is less than 15 minutes. Complete easy to follow installation instructions are included.
Sound Checker Internal

Sound Checker-Internal is designed for a permanent pickup installation for steel string, classical, resonator guitar or any similar instrument with a flat sound board that has access to the inner cavity of the instrument. The sensing head mounts to the sound board from the inside of the instrument for an inconspicuous installation which does not alter the exterior appearance of the guitar.
The adhesive mounted Sound Checker-Internal has outstanding natural tone reproduction qualities faithfully reproducing the natural acoustic quality of your instrument. Sound Checker-Internal requires the drilling of ½" hole through the tail-block of the instrument to accept the end-pin Jack. The end-pin jack serves both as a place to attach your guitar strap to and plug into your favorite Amp or PA. Sound Checker-Internal features completely solderless installation.
Sound Checker Short

Sound Checker - Short is a piezo acoustic instrument pickup/transducer. The pickup is the same as the Sound Checker - Original except that instead of the 6' of cable attached to the sensing head, the Sound Checker - Short is equipped with a short lead length and a 1/4" jack. This allows permanent installation on instruments that don't have access to the internal cavity of the instrument. The natural wood finish compliments and blends aesthetically with most acoustic instruments.
The sensing head mounts to the sound board or bridge of the instrument with a double sided adhesive. A clip is also provided to fasten the jack to the instrument. No modifications are required to the instrument and the pickup may be removed at any time.
All Sound Checker Pickups operate on the piezo-kinetic principle. Vibrations from the instruments sound board are transmitted to the piezo element and are converted to electrical signals. These signals are converted to electrical energy which are then amplified through your amplification system.
Sound Checker Stereo

Sound Checker-Stereo is equipped with dual sensing heads which mount to the sound board from the inside of the instrument. The dual sensing heads provide the capability of outstanding sonic performance. Each individual transducer can be separately EQ'd and mixed together for an unsurpassed natural tone and dynamic range.
Sound Checker-Stereo can be used in mono mode as well by simply using a mono patch cord. In mono mode the two pickups are connected in parallel for increased signal output.
